In these paintings, serpents bloom among petals, seducing the eye and spirit alike. Drawing from the alluring danger of Greek sirens and the sacred symbolism of snakes in Hindu mythology, The Siren Paintings explore the tension between allure and threat, beauty and fear, nature and myth, mortalityand renewal. The floral settings conceal and amplify its symbolic potency. In Hindu tradition, serpents (Nāgas) are divine beings, guardians of treasures, wisdom, and water; linked to cycles of rebirth and the unconscious. In Greek myth, sirens lure with hypnotic song, beckoning souls toward transformation or doom. Here, the snake becomes both siren and Nāga, flowering from myth and desire, a divine warning hidden in grace and seduction.
